Photo diary - Sydney

I could pull the act "Oh darling, it's just another trip to Sydney. It's work, another Thursday in my life". But that would be the opposite from the truth. This trip to Sydney for ASOS, was not just another Thursday. After getting off the plane, a man in a suit stood before me holding a sign with 'Mr. Max McDougall' on it. He then took my luggage and escorted me to the black, on black, on black Mercedes (Yes, I do think I am now eligible to record a rap song)waiting outside the terminal. I was put up in a beautiful suite at the Diamant Hotel, with a package of clothes delivered to my room. This was definitely an unordinary day.

After a dinner with Jess from WhatWouldKarlDo and Jasmin from Friend in Fashion, a few more private car rides and a breakfast with the most elite bloggers in Australia, I went back to stay with Hayley from FashionHayley and her husband Henry for the weekend. Hayley gave me the ultimate tour guide of Sydney, I had such a fun time and I swear we were laughing the entire weekend.

I saw amazing clothes, I ate delicious food and I shopped - this was definitely a successful trip!

The response to my latest posts have been overwhelming, I thank each and every one of you for the support. Outfit post up next!

SWOON Opening

Tuesday I hauled out to Hawthorn to attend the official opening of the lifestyle boutique SWOON. Owned by Brahman and Keegan, SWOON consists of carefully selected pieces by various local designers from Melbourne, and nationwide. Honestly, the store is absolutely beautiful. Every single piece of clothing, jewellery and home wares, is so incredible. I was swooning all night. The store itself is exquisite, and definitely my type of style. Exposed bricks, vintage cabinets & tables for the product - it's an interior design heaven.

As I ate one too many macaroons, and browsed the pieces available, I had such a fun time catching up with everyone. It was exactly the break I needed from school.

Enjoy the explosion of colour and retail goodness...

Do yourself, and I a favour, and head down to 109 Auburn Road, Hawthorn, Melbourne. Did you spot anything you liked? I am currently adding up how much it will cost to get all of the Elgar&Lyle that I am gawking over.

Talk soon,
Max
